Mediterranean Village II
This is the second in a small series (well, only two so far!) of papercuts inspired by the tiny little village I stayed at in Croatia during the summer. Every day I walked to the town centre to buy fresh bread and fruit, with the warm Mediterranean sea lapping at the shore, passing these beautiful buildings on the way.
I have transformed my drawing into a limited edition papercut which has been cut by laser in an edition of 100. It is made from Italian heavyweight textured paper and the colour is hand collaged so it varies slightly with each piece. The papercut is relief mounted onto acid free mount board to create shadows and give an illusion of depth
Supplied to you in protective polythene, it is unframed and the perfect way to present it is in a simple white box or shadow frame.
The image size is approx 12cm x 12cm and the overall size of the picture including the mount is 23cm x 23cm and perfectly fits the Ikea Ribba box frame, or you may wish to have your own bespoke frame made.
